Mary Ann Martin, of 4322 Five Mile Road, passed away Friday, Dec. 9, 2016 at her home.
Mary Ann was born August 15, 1936 in Buffalo and was a daughter of John Joseph and Alice Kirszensztain Staszczyk. On October 4, 1975 in Buffalo, she married her husband of 41 years, Robert Martin, who survives.
Mary Ann worked a number of places including the Salamanca Independent Press, the Olean Times Herald, and Eden Heights as a Nurse's Aid. She and her husband moved to Allegany from Buffalo in 1992 and attended St. Bonaventure Church. Mary Ann enjoyed shopping, music, traveling to Florida, going to the casino, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be remembered as being a very loving and caring wife and mother, with a good sense of humor.
Along with her loving husband, Mary Ann is survived by 15 Children, Donna (Jerald) Kokotajlo of Buffalo, Denise Jarzyniecki of Akron, Debbie White of Friendship, Donald White of Allegany, David (Sandra) White of Lancaster, Darren (Glory) White of Elma, Robert (Lynn) Martin of Virginia, Elaine (Greg) Baeley of Tennesee, William Martin of Royalton, Richard Martin of Buffalo, Laurie (Ken) Mertz of Tonawanda, Roger Martin of Buffalo, Scott Martin of Buffalo, Michelle (John) Pollack of Elma, and Brian Martin of Angola; many many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; one brother, Joseph Staszczyk of Mayville; and many nieces and nephews.
Mary Ann was predeceased by eight siblings, Lorraine Zakrzewski, John, Donald, Harry, Leonard, and Jerry Staszczyk, Barbara Smith, and Marcia Wachowiak.
A Memorial Service will be held at Salvatore's Italian Gardens, #6461 Transit Road, Depew on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016 at 6:00 PM. Flowers are gratefully declined.
