Marion E. Russell of 301 West Henley Street passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2008 in the Olean General Hospital. Mrs. Russell was born on April 27, 1929 in Walton, N.Y. and was a daughter of Raymond S. & Dorotha Mallory Miller. She was formerly married to C.A. Russell. Mrs. Russell worked at a number of places including Printz Clothing, Ickey Cookies, she owned and operated Portville TV. She retired in 1997 from Sugar Creek Store on 8th & West State St. Mrs. Russell was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. She loved to read, gardening, working and traveling. She loved her family and they loved her and she will be missed by all. Surviving Mrs. Russell are a daughter, Mrs. Anita M. (Tom) VanTol of Theodosia, MO; a son, Eric J. (Nancy) Simpson of Fairport, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Andria M. Simpson, David L. Ursoy, Jeremy S. Ursoy, Caitlin G. Simpson, and Logan J. Simpson; four great grandchildren, Alyssa M. Ursoy, Myia L. Ursoy, Isabella M. Ursoy and Samuel L. Ursoy; and a brother, Raymond J. Miller of Canastota, N.Y. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Upstate New York Transplant Services, Inc. 110 Broadway, Buffalo, N.Y. 14203. There will be no public visitation or funeral. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street, Olean.
