Marjorie M. Schieler

Marjorie M. Schieler of the Wellsville Manor Nursing Home, formerly of Aspen Tower, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2012 in the Jones Memorial Hospital, Wellsville. Mrs. Schieler was born on July 1, 1936 in Olean and was a daughter of Harold L. Bessie Creely Baldwin. She worked for a short time as an aid for the Allegany Nursing Home, Olean General Hospital and St. Joseph's Nursing Home. Mrs. Scheiler was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and she enjoyed reading. Surviving Mrs. Schieler are a son, David Schieler; two daughters, Lucy Ann Colley, and Patty Jo Barrett of Tallahassee, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Joyce Baldwin of Olean; a nephew, Gordon Baldwin of Olean; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a son, John H. Schieler; two brothers, Clarence T. Baldwin and Jack Baldwin; and two sisters, Patricia Shaner and Lucy Barry. Friends will be received today in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street, Olean, April 7, 2012 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at which time funeral and committal services will be held. The Rev. Kristen AR Allen, Co-Pastor of Christ United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. View Cemetery, Olean, NY.
