Mary P. Putzke

Mary P. Putzke of 125 North 13th Street, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012 following an illness. Mary was born June 28, 1936 in Olean and she was a daughter of John and Marguerite Siffin Padlo. She was formerly married to Alan F. Putzke. Mary was a graduate of Olean High School Class of 1953. She worked at various plants before going to work at AM & A's and then the Bon-Ton in Olean. She retired in 1998 after 10 years. Mary enjoyed watching the Buffalo Sabres and was a true Rob Ray fan. She also enjoyed gardening and she loved her dog "Gizmo" but most of all she truly loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Mary is survived by five sons, Mark A. (Mary Ellen) Putzke of Olean, Rev. Michael J. (Dawn) Putzke of Pitman, NJ, Matthew C. Putzke of Olean, Gregory A. (Jaimi) Putzke of Winter Spring, FL, and Luke (Nancy) Putzke of Orlando, FL; three daughters, Paula P. (Terry Bellamy) Stepniewski, Patricia J. (Paul Padlo) Putzke, and Michelle M. Putzke all of Olean; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and one brother, John F. (Carole) Padlo of Martinez, CA. Mary was pre-deceased by an infant daughter, Mary Ellen Putzke. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, Feb. 3, 2012 at 12:00 noon at the Grace Alliance Church at 1513 Main Street, Olean. Her son Rev. Michael J. Putzke will officiate.
