Elizabeth Labarr Morse

August 1, 1949 — December 28, 2008

Elizabeth Morse of 6668 County Road 20, Friendship, passed away Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008 shortly after arrival at the Olean General Hospital following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Morse was born on Aug. 1, 1949 in Kane PA and was a daughter of the late Donald J. and Nancy Eileen Deponciau LaBarr. On Oct. 3, 1986 in Belmont she married Douglas R. Morse who survives. Mrs. Morse worked at Northern Lights in Wellsville for about 3 years before going to work at the Absolut at Houghton. She later worked at the Cuba Memorial Hospital for four years until 2002 when retired due to her illness. Mrs. Morse enjoyed she pet cats and collecting costume jewelry. She also enjoyed arts & crafts and going to yard sales when she could. Mrs. Morse truly loved her husband & family and enjoyed being with them. Surviving Mrs. Morse besides her husband are a son, Donald J. Mary Gadley of Friendship; two daughters, Shannon E. Hannah of Warren, PA., and Rikki L. Lyons of Winnemucca, Nevada; two granddaughters, Courtney C. Gadley and Chelsea E. Godley; a grandson, Justin D. Gadley; four great grandchildren, Logan, Hailee, Skylar & Serenity Godley; four brothers, James L. (Tina) LaBarr of Meadville, John F. LaBarr of Meadville, Joel R. (Laurie) LaBarr of Winston-Salem, NC., and Daniel K. LaBarr of Warren, Pa.; two sisters, Brenda J. (Bill) White of Belmont, and Susan K. (Orville) Schultz of Warren, PA.; and many nieces & nephews. A private Memorial Service will be held at the connivance of the family in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #24 Genesee Pkwy Cuba. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the SPCA or to the American Diabetes Association.
