Alfred E. Rudd, of 131 � Fulton Street passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2013 from injuries sustained in a house fire. Geno was born on Dec. 2, 1928 in Ellicottville, where he grew up, and was formerly married to Sharon Amidon. He served in the U.S. Army from Nov. 24, 1950 to Nov. 26, 1952. Geno worked for a number of places in the area including working as a farm hand on a dairy in Ellicottville, Friendship Diaries, and Town of Bolivar and in the woods as a lumberman for a number of people. Geno is survived by a son, Douglas A. Rudd of Maryland; and close friends, Linda Allman and Elmer Ellis both of Olean. Friends are invited to a Remembrance Gathering on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street, Olean.
