Carl L. Clemons

Carl L. Clemons, of 122 E. Green St., passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at his home from injuries sustained in a fall. Carl was born March 18, 1962 in Olean and was a son of Robert W. and Irene L. Gayton Clemons. He was a 1980 graduate of Olean High School. Carl worked at ALCAS for 24 years. He enjoyed watching Chicago Bears football, Syracuse Orangemen Basketball, and was 76ers Basketball fan, camping on "The Land" in Cuba, fishing, and family gatherings. Carl had a long time tradition of spending Friday evenings with his "Brothers." Carl is survived by his mother, Irene L. Clemons of Olean; one son, Evan A. Clemons of Great Valley; three sisters, Carolyn (Louis) Fuller of Olean, Irene R. (Lester) Robinson of Cincinnati, OH, and Lori Clemons of Buffalo; and two brothers, Mark W. Clemons, and Arthur Clemons both of Olean. Carl was predeceased by his father, Robert W. Clemons in 1998; one sister, Ruth Shorter on January 14, 2005; and one brother, Robert Clemons on June 14, 2011. Friends will be received Monday, April 15, 2013 at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, #646 E. State Street, Olean from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM, at which time a Memorial Service will be held. Bishop Marion R. Richey will officiate. Burial will be at the Mt. View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, P.O.
