Kathy E. Smith

Kathy E. Smith of 132 N. Union St., passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017, at her home. Kathy was born Dec. 1, 1957 in Orchard Park and was a daughter of Gordon William and Mary L. Danis Freeman. She was formerly married to Robert Pace. On April 18, 1994, in Buffalo, she married Edward J. Smith, Jr. Kathy was a 1977 graduate of Hamburg Central School. She was a 1994 graduate of Bryant & Stratton college with an Associate Degree in Business. Kathy enjoyed quilting, music, camping, and long walks, but she truly loved spending time with her grandchildren. Kathy is survived by four children, Rebecca K. (Randall Voxta) Berndt of Ft. Myers, FL, Ashley S. Pace of Blasdell, Katie A. Camillo of Olean and Cody W. Smith of West Seneca; five grandchildren, Christian, Sammy, Gabbie, Carson, & Colsen Camillo; and a brother, Gordan Freeman of Colorado. Kathy was predeceased by her mother, Mary L. Freeman on March 15, 2005; and a sister, Mariellen R. Freeman on Feb. 22, 2001. Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., #646 E. State Street, Olean on Sunday, May 21, 2017 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, at which time a Funeral Service will be held. The Rev. Chuck Maine, Pastor of Epic Church, will officiate.
