Christine E. Peck

Christine E. Peck of 414 Martha Ave., passed away on Friday, Nov. 10, 2017 in the Palliative Care Unit at the Cuba Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her family, following a long illness. Chris was born on Oct. 17, 1952 in Bradford, PA and was a daughter of Robert L. and Pamela J. Densmore Walker. On Nov. 23, 1984 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Olean, she married her husband of almost 33 years, Robert E. Peck, who survives. Chris was a 1970 graduate of Limestone High School. She worked at the Bradford Hospital for 2 years, where she received her training to be an x-ray technician and in Nuclear Medicine. Chris then went to work at the Olean General Hospital in the Radiology department as a technician, performing various tests including mammograms, for 34 years until she became sick and retired in 2014. She was known for her talents as a seamstress and her ability to make or rework clothing for her family and friends at the hospital. Chris enjoyed spending time with her children and especially her grandchildren. Along with her loving husband, Chris is survived by; 2 children, Robert E. (Sarah) Peck, II and Brandi S. Peck both of Allegany; 5 grandchildren, Quinten, Ethanyal, Joel Michael, Anastasia Marie, and Starr Lynn; 4 siblings, Jack E. (Denise) Walker of Olean, Dahny M. Walker of Limestone Run, Dale A. (Barb) walker of Olean, and Cindy K. Wedge of Bradford; several nieces and nephews. Chris was predeceased by her father, Robert L. Walker, in 1996. At Chris' request, there will be no Public Visitation or Funeral Services. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State Street, Olean.
