Douglas M. Bridenbaker, of 8868 Route 240, formerly of 4689 South Nine Mile Road, Allegany, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017, at his home.
Douglas was bon on Dec. 4, 1957 in Jamestown and was a son of Louis D. and Nancy W. Barker Bridenbaker. On Dec. 5, 1981, in Little Valley, he married his loving wife of 35 years, Sharon L. Sanford, who survives. Douglas attended Rowland Heights High School. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but he truly loved his family time and lived for his grandchildren.
Along with his loving wife, Douglas is survived by his father, Louis D. Bridenbaker of Allegany; two children, Linda (Damien) Perry of Olean and Christopher (Kristan) Bridenbaker of Allegany; six grandchildren, Mark and Anya Perry, Connor and Marie Bridenbaker, and Derek and Mayc Kelley; a brother, Louis D. (Terry) Bridenbaker, Jr. of Collins; a sister, Donna M. Bridenbaker of Allegany; several nieces & nephews; and a brother at Heart, Geary Kopp of Springville.
Douglas was predeceased by his mother, Nancy Barker; a nephew, Bradley R. Barker on July 10, 2017; and a sister at heart, Susan Kopp.
