Clifford Thompson Sr.

Hinsdale- Clifford Thompson Sr. “Loving Father, Grandfather & Brother” Clifford Thompson Sr. of 1335 Oak Lane, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. Clifford was born on March 4, 1943 and was the son of Ezlee D. and Elesie Edith Murry Thompson. Clifford worked in the maintenance department at Temple Inc in Diboll Texas after 39 years. In September of 2021 he moved to Hinsdale to be with his son. Clifford was formerly a member of the Southern Baptist Church. Clifford loved hunting and fishing but most of all he loved his family and enjoyed being with them. Anyone that knew Clifford loved him especially his family. Clifford is survived by; 2 sons, Charles Thompson and Clifford Thompson Jr.; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Iona U. McNabb of New Iberia, LA and Wanda Foster of Alice, TX. Clifford was predeceased by; his parents, a son, James Thompson and 2 brothers, Larry D. and Ezlee D. Thompson. As per Clifford Sr.’s request there will be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., Olean.
