Olean- Patricia M. Michels Patricia M. Michels, 63 of Olean passed away Tuesday evening (January 11th, 2022) at Olean General Hospital following a brief illness. Born July 2, 1958, in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rosemary Michels of Port Sanilac, Michigan. Patricia attended Bishop Gallagher High School in Harper Woods, Michigan and was employed for many years at various credit and title companies in the Detroit area. During her years in Olean, she was an active member of the Abundant Life Ministries of Cattaraugus County in Weston Mills. Her favorite pastimes were going to the Darien Lake theme park and spending time with friends. She is survived by her brother James (Beverly) Michels of Sturgis, Michigan, and her nieces Veronica Michels of Chicago, Illinois and Hannah Michels of Seattle, Washington. Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life service held at Abundant Life Ministries 1331 Portville-Olean Rd Weston Mills on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at 5:00pm where Rev. Bruce Taylor will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home in Olean. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Patricia’s honor to Abundant Life Ministries or the Cattaraugus County SPCA.
