Olean – Joseph Carl Becker Joseph Carl Becker who resided at 2724 Route 16 North passed away on Monday December 13th, 2021 at Erie County Medical Center. Joe was born on September 14th, 1960, in Oahu, Hawaii. He was the son of Joseph Carl and Frances Elizabeth Stocks Becker. Joe was a 1978 graduate of Mt. Carmel High School in Poway California. Joe was a distinguished veteran who served in the United States Airforce as a Security Specialist. Proceeding his completion in the USAF he worked diligently alongside his father in his painting business while he lived in California. Later in life he was truly esteemed of his devotion to Saint Bonaventure University as the Security Director which was a title he held for several years. Joe found peace within the allure of nature as Rock N Roll guided his soul. Within the bonds he created, he found a home in the hearts of everyone he touched. Above all, his labor of love was in truth is family. Joe is survived by his father Joseph Becker Sr., two sons: Kyle J. Becker of Olean and Monte J. Dickerson and daughter-in-law Dana Bender of Allegany, stepdaughter, Casey Hartburg, and four grandchildren, twins, Riley and Huey, Mayes, and Tyler, two siblings, Susan Mayfield of Ohio, and Randell Becker of Poconos Lake, Pennsylvania, his nieces, Sarah (Scott) George, and Krista Watkins, a nephew, Curtis Mayfield, his grand nephews, Alexander, Caleb, and Owen, and a grandniece, Emmalyn, and former wives, Sharon L. Becker, and Wendi Hartburg. Joe was predeceased by his beloved mother Francis Becker, a brother, Robert Becker, and a stepson, Coda Hartburg. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic the family has opted to hold a small private family gathering to ensure the health and safety of his closest friends and extended family.
