Debra L. Tarr

Bolivar – Debra L. Tarr "Loving Wife, Mother, & Grandmother" Debra L. Tarr of 976 County Road 5, passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving husband and family. Debra was born on October 15, 1954 in Olean and was a daughter of Joseph Terry and Betty Evans Kline. On February 12, 1972, in Olean, she married her husband of 49 years, Gene A. Tarr, who survives. Debra worked as a substitute at the Bolivar-Richburg School Cafeteria in the early 2000's. She raised her family whom she loved dearly and loved spending time with them, especially her grandchildren. Debra enjoyed playing bingo and cards, reading, and bird watching, but she truly enjoyed family get-togethers and cookouts. Along with her loving husband, Debra is survived by; 3 children, Buffy L.(Leon) Gardner of Bolivar, Kelly J. Snyder of Port St. Joe, FL, and Jason E. Tarr of Bolivar; 6 grandchildren, Chayse, Rhiley, Autumn, Alyssah, Courtney, and Sheldon; a great granddaughter, Brynlee; a brother, Richard D. (Mary Jo) Kline of Cattaraugus; and a long-time family friend, Julie Skroback. Debra was predeceased by; her parents; a daughter, Tina J. Fanton on March 19, 2019; a half-brother, Raymond "Butch" Maynard; and a half-sister, Michelle Hollowell. Friends will be received on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 East State Street, Olean, where a Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at 11:00 am. The Rev. Tim Taylor, Pastor of the Crosstown Alliance Church in Shinglehouse, PA, will officiate. Burial will be at Boulder Cemetery in Little Genesee.
