Olean – Kathi Ann Kallenbach "Loving Wife, Mother, & Grandmother"
Kathi A. Kallenbach, of 635 Barnum Road, passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021, at the Buffalo General Hospital, following a brief illness.
Kathi was born on July 4, 1959 in Olean and was a daughter of George F. and Millie A. Brown Conkey. On August 19, 2000, in Olean, she married her loving husband, William Edward "Ed" Kallenbach, who survives.
Kathi worked as a waitress at Roxie's and then Monica's in Allegany for many years before going to work at the Olean VFW for 26 years, until her retirement in March of 2020. She was a member of the St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Olean and was a life-member of VFW Post #1619 Ladies Auxiliary. Kathi was a lover of life, nature, music, and motorcycle rides with her husband, but most of all she loved her family and spending time with them. She was known for putting daily scriptures, inspirational bible quotes, postings on Facebook, and will be missed by her loving husband, family, and many loyal friends, whom she waited on for many years.
Along with her loving husband, Ed, Kathi is survived by; her mother, Millie A. (Pat) Piccirillo of Olean; 3 daughters, Karen S. (Sam Sowash) Conkey of Titusville, PA, Kimberlee A. Ferrell of Florida, and Jessica Windus of Portville; 14 grandchildren, Michael, Marcus, Tyson, Faith, Teontae, Souljur, Ulleenthiuz, Alli-on, Xenoshha, Brize, Jon, Jack, Sawyer, and Liliana; 21 great grandchildren with 1 on the way; her dog, Gabe; a brother, George A. (Joan) Conkey of Allegany; 2 nephews, Chris and Cory Conkey; and a great niece.
Kathi was predeceased by her father, George F. Conkey on June 22, 2002.
Friends will be received today, March 31, 2021 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 East State Street, Olean, where a Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 1:00 pm. The Rev. Kim Rossi, Rector at the St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, will officiate. Burial will be at Mt. View Cemetery in Olean.
