To the entire Hitchcock Family, I was privileged to work with Harvey during the first (13)-years of my professional career as an Engineering Technician at Acme Electric. At the ripe young age of 19, I had much anxiety about working with such experienced individuals, but Harvey quickly "took me under his wing" and taught me so much. Having lost my most of grandparents before starting at Acme Electric, I considered Harvey a "grandfather figure" and could always rely on him for guidance about work- or life-related issues. In fact, I remember being right there as one of last ones to leave our last day of work on October 31, 2006. While I felt like I was losing part of my extended family, it was such a blessing to still see him (as well as others...) around the Olean area from time-to-time thereafter. As is true of our God's mysterious ways, my wife was also blessed to know this fine gentleman during her time as a Nurse Manager at Olean General Hospital. True to his friendship towards me, he always asked about my well-being, which brought so many smiles to my face. I offer my most sincere condolences for your loss, but am confident Harvey has left memories that will never to be forgotten. God Bless!!! Nelson "Robbie" Watkins

To Skip, Joann and family members of Harvard, Rick and I send our many prayers and thoughts at this time. Your dad was always kind and supportive we share your sorrow.. I will never forget the times I would arrive at their home to give him a massage. Marilyn and Harvard always welcomed me into a loving home. Sharing meals ,advice comforting me when needed it the most. Rick and I wishing you all peace as you grieve for your dad.
