Kenneth J. Petro, Sr.

Portville – Kenneth J. Petro, Sr. "Loving Husband & Devoted Father" Kenneth J. Petro, Sr., of 9764 Underwood Lane, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020, at his home, surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. Kenneth was born November 7, 1961 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and was the son of Michael J. and Marion C. Smith Petro Sr.. On October 18, 1980 in Youngsville, PA he married his loving wife of 39 years, Amy Buchanan, who survives. He graduated from Hanover area high in Wilkes-Barre. Kenneth started his career in the 1970's in Wilkes-Barre, PA at Renna's Pizza and remained in the business for over 39 years. He was fondly nicknamed "The Pizza Man" by his customers. Kenneth was a devoted loving husband and father who cherished his family. He had a passion for cooking, especially for his family. Kenneth also enjoyed gardening, nature, animals and cars. Along with his wife, Kenneth is survived by 2 daughters, Tiffany Lebel of Jamestown and Janel (Joe) Anderson of Erie PA; 3 grandchildren, Savannah Locke, Lucas Lebel and Lacey Licht. Kenneth was predeceased by a son Ken Petro Jr.. Friends will be received at The Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc.,646 East State Street, Olean on Thursday, July 30, 2020 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm and Friday, July 31, 2020 from 10:00am to 11:00am at which time funeral services will be held. The Rev. Al Batt will officiate. Burial will be at the Allegany Cemetery.
