Bradford, PA – James H. Clark "Loving Husband, Father, & Son"
James H. Clark, formerly of 1672 Olean-Portville Road, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020, at the Bradford Manor, following a lengthy illness.
James was born on July 14, 1949 in Springfield, MA and was a son of Harold L. and Eloise D. Magoon Clark. He was married to Susan Patricia Quinn, who predeceased him on February 8, 2008. On September 12, 2009, in Portville, he married Yvonne Perry, who survives.
James attended Phelps School and then was a 1967 graduate of Agawam High School, where he was a musician and played the Trumpet, French Horn, and Clarinet. He continued his education at Springfield College earning his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Science. James also graduated from Western New England College with his Masters in Education. He served in the US Army from September 26, 1975 to September 25, 1979 at Fort Lewis, WA. James attended the Olean First Baptist Church.
James was a sportsman and enjoyed hiking, target shooting, camping, and he loved Big Band music. he loved fly fishing at Lake Willoughby in Westmore, VT with his father from the age of 9 until he was 15.
Along with his loving wife, James is survived by; his mother, Eloise D. Clark of Feeding Hills, MA; 2 children, Andrew J. Clark of Chicopee, MA and Eric R. Clark of Holyoke, MA; 2 stepchildren, Michelle R. (Bill) Brundage of Portville , and Bryan J. (Kristy) May of Norfolk, VA; 2 step grandchildren, Indiana M. Brundage and Alyssa R. May; a brother, Russell Clark of Feeding Hills, MA; and a first cousin and close friend, Allan (Linda) Bacon of Belchertown, MA.
James was predeceased by his first wife, Susan Patricia Clark, and his father, Harold L. Clark.
Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 East State Street, Olean, on Thursday, December 10, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, at which time a Funeral Service will be held. The Rev. Jason Hladik, Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Olean, will officiate. Burial will be at Agawam Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Agawam, MA.
