Katrina K. Ash

Salamanca – Katrina K. Ash "Loving Mother of 3" Katrina K. Ash, of 451 Broad Street, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2020 at the Olean General Hospital, following a lengthy battle with Parkinson's Disease. Katrina was born on Nov. 3, 1951 in Newport News, VA and was a daughter of Marvin Eugene and Margaret Ann Taylor Hett. She was a 1969 graduate of Hampton High School in Hampton, VA. Katrina was a 1986 graduate of the practical nursing program at Wichita Area Vocational Technical School. She received her Licensed Practical Nursing certificate in November of 1986. Katrina earned her Associates in Applied Science from Butler Community College in May of 2008. She worked as a private duty Licensed Practical Nurse. Katrina enjoyed arts, crafts, and quilting, but she truly loved spending time with her family and friends. Katrina is survived by; 3 children, Tina Wyble Boldini of Bolton, CT, Jessica A. Forell of Olean, NY and TJ Ash of Byron Center, MI; 7 grandchildren; a sister, Eva Bowman; and 2 nieces. Katrina was predeceased by her parents, 1 sister, Beverly Hagemeister, 1 brother, David Edwards, and 1 niece. There will be a Memorial Service held at Bath National Cemetery in the Spring at a date to be announced.
