            Jace Eugene Silvis, infant son of Andrew and Stacy Gayton Silvis, of 225 South 3rd Street, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, at the Oishei Children's Hospital in Buffalo, following a brief illness.

            Jace was born on March 6, 2019 in Buffalo.

            Jace is survived by; his parents; 3 brothers, Tyler Michael (Kali) Silvis, Railey Andrew Silvis and Hunter Anthony Silvis all of Olean; a niece, Brynlee Silvis; his maternal grandmother, Debra Peterson; his maternal grandfather, Arthur Gayton; his paternal grandmother, Gina (John E.) Thompson of Grimsley, TN; his paternal grandfather, Danny M. Silvis; his paternal great grandfather, Joseph O. Schoonmaker of Lake Wales, FL; his paternal great grandmother, Jenevieve Silvis of Smethport, PA; paternal aunts, Julie (Barry) Cline of St. Thomas, PA and Tina Thompson of Chambersburg, PA; paternal uncles, Sean A. (Musette) Silvis of Mt. Jewett, PA and John (Nellie) Thompson of Chambersburg, PA; maternal cousins, Deon Gayton, Marrissa Gayton, Danielle Gayton, Nivea Johnson, Zhaonna Wright, Zahiya Curry, Aliah Gayton, Amiya Gayton, Orianna Gayton, SaeJour Heath, Kazon Heath, and Julionna Gayton; paternal cousins, Karen (Tony) Bogner, Anne Steel, Cherelle Mullen, Brandon Thompson, Ashley Thompson, Dakota Sherwood, Heather Ortiz Keyser, Zorina Keyser, Wesley Keyser, Cathetine McQuitty, Ava May, Olivia May, Isabella Bogner, Avery Bogner, Clarissa Kaai, Kimberly May, Carl Rodgers, Hunter Steel, Anessa Steel, Kyliegh Windhorst, Andrea Cline, Garrett Steel, and Hunter Steel; maternal great aunts, Eva (Tommy) Gayton, Alicia (Damare) Curry, Tayonna Peterson, Heather Lovia, and Elizabeth Weigartz; maternal great uncles, Daniel Gayton and William Gayton and Jack (Myra) Buckles; paternal great aunt, Clair (Robbie) Keyser; paternal great uncles, David (Bonnie) Piepa, John (Lisa) Keyser, Paul (Jeanette) Kersuree, Ray (Amy) Silvis, Carl (Sandy) Rodgers, and Larry Conkey; special family, aunt Danielle, aunt Amy, and the Holland family; and many other family members including his family from 3rd Street.

            Jace was predeceased by; his maternal great grandparents, William and Sharon Peterson; his paternal great grandmother, Judith M. Schoonmaker; his paternal great grandfather Clifford T. Silvis; and a maternal cousin, Cyn'Creah Vance.

            Friends will be received at the Epic Church, 411 Henley Street, Olean on Sunday, October 20, 2019 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, at which time a Funeral Service will be held.  The Rev. Chuck Maine, Pastor, will officiate.
