Kenneth L. Werts

Kenneth L. Werts, Jr. of 633 South Union Street passed away Sunday Oct. 18, 2015 at his home. Kenneth was born Aug. 1, 1953 and was a son of Kenneth L. and Alice Housler Werts, Sr. He served in the Army from Jan. 12, 1973 to Dec. 14, 1974. Kenneth worked as a Cab Driver for Alle-Catt Taxi service. Kenneth is survived by his mother, Alice Werts of Olean; three children; four siblings, George D. (Sally) Werts of Olean, Jean M. Collins of Olean, Shirley A. Everly of Cuba; and Nancy D. Peace of Olean. Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, #646 E. State St., Olean, New York on Thursday Oct. 22, 2015 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at which time Funeral Services will be held. The Rev. Al Batt, Associate Pastor of the Southside Chapel, will officiate. Members of the Allegany American Legion Charles Harbel Post 892 Ritual Team will accord full military honors. Burial will be in the Mt. View Cemetery.
