Judith A. Vanscoter

Judith A. VanScoter of 6 Wellington Drive, Portville passed away Monday Nov. 9, 2015 at home, surrounded by her loving family. Born June 6, 1946 in Olean, she was the daughter of Richard and Julia M. Beckley Crandell. On June 24, 1967 in the St. Raphael Church, Eldred, PA she married her husband of 48 years Robert L. VanScoter. Judith was a 1964 graduate of Otto-Eldred High School and graduated from the St. Francis School of Nursing in 1966. She was a nurse at the St. Francis Hospital in Olean. Judith's life was centered around her family, and she was loved by every one. Along with her loving husband, she is survived by two daughters, Robin VanScoter of Portville, and Kim (Clay) Prentice of Binghamton; one granddaughter, Regan Prentice of Binghamton; and several nieces & nephews. At the family's request, there will be no Public Visitation or Funeral Services. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., #646 E.
