John L. Perrington of 517 Spring Street, passed away on Friday Aug. 7, 2015 at home.
John was born Dec. 4, 1972 in Olean and was a son of Phillip and Linda M. Lippert Perrington. He was formerly married to Karen Peterson and Melissa Fuller.
John worked as a cook/waiter at the Ponderosa, Good Times, and most recently for St. Mary's Church. He was a member of the Light House Church. John enjoyed playing poker, going to Oilers games and Church.
John is survived by his mother, Linda M. Jones of Olean; six children, Johnathon Lee Perrington, Brandon Michael Perrington, Nickolas Zain Perrington, Mikayla Ann Perrington, and Maya Azaret Torres all of Arizona, and Jayda Lynn Perrington of Cuba; one granddaughter, Kennedy Leigh Perrington; two sisters, Cassie L. (Jesse) Ortega of California, and Tricia L. (Keith) Durphy of Florida; and one brother, Matthew James Perrington of Olean.
John was predeceased by his father, Phillip Perrington who passed away Oct. of 2013; a sister, Terry McClain who passed away in 2007; and a brother, Ronald Ouderkirk who passed away in 1991.
Friends will be received in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., #646 E. State St., Olean, on Friday August 14, 2015 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at which time a Funeral Service will be held. The Rev. Jody L. Babb, John's Cousin and an Associate Pastor of Living Waters Church of Olean, will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. View Cemetery in Olean.
