Robert Alan Jennings

Robert Alan Jennings of 324 North 13th Street passed away peacefully Saturday (November 14, 2015) surrounded by his daughters and loving family. He was born March 31, 1965 in Olean, the son of Virginia (Donald) Becker and the late Maurice W. Jennings. After attending Olean High School he served for a brief time in the U.S. Army. Throughout his career, Bob worked for several years in the Rochester area, most specifically at Davis-Ulmer as a pipefitter and J&S Fire Protection Services owned by his brother David Jennings. He was a proud member of the Local 669 Pipefitters Union and owned and operated 3J Mechanical assisting area residence and local contractors with all their plumbing and construction needs. Bob was an avid pool player, a proud member of many leagues over the last 30 years in both Rochester and Olean areas. He took great pride in winning numerous tournaments and creating lifelong friendships. Bob had a generous heart, helping anyone in need. He also loved the peace and tranquility of fishing and long rides throughout our beautiful region. Bob is survived by two daughters Alexis Jennings and Kasia Lewis of Olean; four sisters, Sandra (John) Stinneford of Charlotte, NC, Elizabeth (Terry) Burrows of Olean, Melody (Michael) Meyers of Hinsdale, and Lee Ann (Daniel) Dineen of Olean; three brothers, David (Julia) Jennings of Kansas City, MO, Edward Jennings of Olean, and Gary (Charlotte) Jennings of Springville, NY; a step bother and sister, Paul (Julie) Becker and Kathy (Lyle) Busbey; and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Tuesday November 17, 2015 at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., #646 E. State St., Olean, New York 14760 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM . a funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday November 18, 2015 at 10:00 AM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial may be made to the Cattaraugus County SPCA 2944 Route 16 N, Olean, NY 14760. In honor of his fur-babies; Knucklehead, Hannah and Isabella.
