Dorcas R. Dennis

Dorcas R. Dennis of 8 Elm Street, Cuba passed away Sunday, February 27, 2011. Mrs. Dennis Nov. 3, 1934, in Angola, NY, she was the daughter of Harold and Isabel Smith Bosler. Mrs. Dennis was a 1952 graduate of Lewistown, PA High School and received an A.A.S. Degree from Alfred State College in 1969. Prior to her retirement in 1991, she was a Food Processing Inspector for New York State Dept of Ag & Markets. Ms. Dennis was a member of the McKee Chapter 212, Order of the Eastern Star at Cuba. Surviving are a son, David A. (Michele) Rodkey of Olean; two daughters, Diane M. (David) Tuttle of Friendship, and Roslyn J. (Thomas) Stuart of Marysville, Pa.; and three grandchildren, Douglas W. Bunk, Tyler W. Rodkey and Kaylin J. Rodkey. Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home Inc., 24 Genesee Parkway, Cuba on Thursday, March 3, 2011 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at which time Funeral and Committal Services will be held. The Rev. Samuel E. Marchetta, Chaplin at Homecare & Hospice, will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Friendship. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cuba Circulating Library, #39 East Main Street, Cuba, New York 14727.
