Roland H. Armstrong

Roland "Ronald" H. Armstrong, Jr. of 502 Front Street, Olean passed away at his home Friday, April 15, 2011. Mr. Armstrong was born September 26, 1956, a son of Roland and Bessie Hinman Armstrong, Sr. who survives. He was formally married to Elena Mikolajczyk. Mr. Armstrong graduated from Olean High School and was employed as a machinist for Dresser Rand for 30 years. Mr. Armstrong enjoyed water skiing, boating and fishing, but his greatest pleasure was spending time with his daughters. Surviving Mr. Armstrong besides his parents are three daughters, Alisha, Samantha, and Abby Armstrong all of Olean; two brothers, Larry (Lisa) Armstrong of Olean, and Ed Armstrong of Cassadaga; and one sister, Jane Armstrong of Olean. There will be no public visitation or funeral. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E.
