Timothy M. Laluk, of 425 1st Ave. passed way at home Wednesday Feb 12, 2014 following a long battle with lung cancer.
Tim was born Jan 8, 1952 in Olean, and was the son of Michael and Donna Schick, Laluk. On February 8, 1975 at St. Mary's Church he married his wife of 39 years Lynn C. Barton.
Tim was a 1970 graduate of Olean High School and worked for Dresser Rand as a fork lift operator. He later worked at Microtel Inn & Suites in maintenance for about 3 years until about 2009. He enjoyed building model cars and trucks. Tim was an avid New York Yankees & Pittsburgh Steelers fan and also enjoyed NASCAR. He truly enjoyed his two cats. Tim also volunteered at the Olean General Hospital as a driver for the VanGOH Van for about 3 Years.
Besides his loving wife he is survived by a daughter, Tammy L. (Robert) Murphy of Olean; a son, Timothy M. Laluk, Jr. of Olean; three grandchildren, Ryan P. Murphy, Brieana M. Laluk and Zayne M. Laluk; one brother, Thomas A. (Beth) Laluk of Huntington Beach, Ca.; one sister, Victoria (LeRoy) Lovell of Springville, N Y; one sister-in-law, Judy L. Barton of Olean; two nieces, Courtney Laluk, and Marilyn Davis; and one nephew, Michael Davis.
Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street Olean on Monday Feb. 17, 2014 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm & 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday Feb. 18, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home. The Rev. Gregory J. Dobson, Pastor of St. Mary of the Angels Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Allegany Cemetery, Allegany.
