Olean- Thomas F. Gardiner “Loving Father, Grandfather & Brother”

Thomas F. Gardiner of 1708 Haskell Parkway, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at the Cuba Memorial Hospital following an illness.

Tom was born on January 6,1955 in Olean and was the son of Francis Eugene and Patricia Ann Eaton Gardiner. He was formerly married to Kathleen M. Welch.

Tom was a graduate of Olean High School.  He worked as a tool and die maker for Dresser Rand for many years and retiring due to his illness.

Tom enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Tom is survived by; 2 children, Gary L. Gardiner of North Olmsted, OH and Sindy L. (Shane) Bliss of Fl; a daughter in law, Jenny M. Gardiner of Allegany; 4 grandchildren, Abbey, Aiden, Dalton and Hallie; a great grandson, Calvin; 2 siblings, Bonnie A. (Don) Buchanan and Robert P. (Tammy) Gardiner both of Olean and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Tom was predeceased by his parents and a brother, William C. Gardiner on December 9, 2017.

Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., on Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at which time a funeral service will be held.  Funeral services will begin with full military honors accorded by the Allegany American Legion Charles Harbel Post 892 Ritual Team and the Rev. Gerald C. Piper Pastor of Knapps Creek United Methodist Church will officiate.  Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.letromcintoshspinkfuneralhome.com
