Stephanie Diane Hall Easterly

Stephanie Diane Hall Easterly, formerly of N. 12th St. and 607 W. Green St., passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016 at the Comfort House of Allegany County, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Stephanie was born May 21, 1957 in Salamanca and was the youngest of Ernest C. and Beatrice Z. Rickey Hall's children. She was formerly married to Glenn D. Jeffery. On July 30, 1993, she married Bernard E. Easterly, who predeceased her on Sept. 29, 2011. Stephanie attended Olean Schools. She received her LPN degree from St. Francis School of Nursing in 1985. She worked at St. Francis Hospital, that educated and inspired her, for a period of time. Stephanie dedicated her life to her home, her children, and her grandchildren. She was a wonderful woman known for her quick wit, humorous sarcasm, deep love of animals, and knowledge of veterinary and medical science. Stephanie is survived by her two children, Amy (Freddie George) Jeffery-Lisek of Hinsdale, and Adam (Katherine) Jeffery of Olean; six grandchildren, Stone and Gage Lisek, Lennox and Temperance George and Collin and Evelyn Jeffery; three sisters, Ellen (Neil) Rees, Sherril (James) Weitzel, and Carol (Peter Deeb) Spencer, and sister in law, Susan Black, all of Olean; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Stephanie was predeceased by two brothers, and Douglas Hall in 2003 and David Hall in 2010. Friends will be at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., #646 E. State St., Olean on Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at which time a Funeral Service will be held. The Rev. Patricia A. Bancroft, Pastoral care at HomeCare and Hospice for Allegany County, will officiate. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the Hart Comfort House at 141 East State Street, Wellsville, NY 14895 or to the HomeCare and Hospice, 1224 West State Street, Olean, NY 14760.
