Stephanie L. George

Portville – Stephanie L. George "Loving Mother & Grandmother" Stephanie L. George of 52 Temple Street, passed away on Tuesday Oct 19th, 2021 in the Buffalo General Hospital following an illness. Stephanie was born Aug. 10, 1971 in Olean and was a daughter of Emmit and Caroline Smith Kimble. She was formerly married to Ricky D. George. Stephanie worked at Case Cutlery in Bradford for 13 years before going to work at Sprague's Maple Farms in Portville, where she was a prep cook as well as a cleaner for the past 12 years. She loved her family and she enjoyed spending time with them and especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking as well as her pet cats. Stephanie was survived by three children Amber L. George and Ashlyn L. George both of Portville and Ricky D. George, Jr. of Ashville, NC three grandchildren Neaveh, Zach & Nolan. Two brothers Steve & Carl and two sisters Kathy & Brenda and many nieces & nephews. Friends will be received in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home Inc., 646 E. State Street Olean on Tuesday Oct. 26, 2021from 4:00pm to 5:00p.m. at which time a Memorial Service will be held. The Rev. Dr. Anthony L. Evans will officiate.
