Allegany- Sheila Jane Shively “Child of God”

 Sheila J. Shively, 82, of 4115 South Nine Mile Road, was called home for a reunion with her family in heaven on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at the Olean General Hospital.  

 Sheila was born January 17, 1942 at St. Francis Hospital in Olean and was the daughter of the late Richard John and Felicia Ann Brennan Hughes.

 Sheila retired from the Rehabilitation Center.  She was known to be stubborn and sassy.  Sheila loved to crochet, knit, and jigsaw puzzles but most of all she loved her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Sheila is survived by, 6 children, Brenda Shively, Kathleen Robin Shively Carrier, Michael W. Shively, Laura Anne Shively Hurd, Felicia L. Shively and Mark C.J. Shively; 22 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.

Sheila was predeceased by; her parents; maternal grandparents, William and Evangaline Brennan; 2 brothers, William (Bill) Hughes and Thomas Hughes; and a sister, Catherine Hughes Fowler.
