Hinsdale – Robert L. "Bob" Nupp "Loving Husband, Father, & Grandfather"
Robert L. "Bob" Nupp, of 3585 Fay Hollow Road, passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021, at his home following a lengthy illness.
Bob was born July 8, 1953 in Olean and was a son of Alonzo Ford and Donna Mae Whitter Nupp. On December 5, 1987, at the Shower United Methodist Church, he married his wife of 33 years, Cynthia A. Granger, who survives.
Bob served in the USA Army from December 30, 1971 to December 10, 1974. He was a self-employed contractor and also worked on the railroad for Conrail. Bob served as a dog control officer for 21 years. He was a life-member of the Hinsdale Fire Department, a past member of the Hinsdale American Legion, and a member of the Cattaraugus County Fireman's Auxiliary. Bob enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Along with his loving wife, Cynthia, Bob is survived by; his children, Ronald L. (Shannon) Scott of Olean, Shawn D. Granger of Hinsdale, Martha L. (Rick) Banks of Austin, PA, Shavonne F. (Douglas) Burnett and Shelley L. Kenjockety both of Allegany, Shane D. (Jody) Kenjockety, and Shallen J. (Gary) Holland both of Hinsdale; 21 grandchildren; 2 sisters, M. Ann (Howard) Curtis of Great Valley and Gudrun (Douglas) Dietz of Little Valley; and many nieces and nephews.
Bob was predeceased by; his parents; 3 sisters, Frances Nupp Brock on April 24, 1987, Virginia Nupp Foltz, and Linda Nupp Sherman; and a brother, LeRoy Nupp on December 24, 2005.
Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 East State Street, Olean, on Sunday, March 7, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, at which time a Funeral Service will be held. The Rev. Chuck Maine, Pastor of Epic Church, will officiate. Full military honors will be accorded by the Allegany American Legion Charles Harbel Post #892 Ritual Team.
