Robert Martin

Robert Martin, of 4322 Five Mile Road, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016 at the Olean General Hospital following a brief illness. Robert was born Feb. 17, 1930 in Lackawanna and was a son of Harry and Marie L. Eisenhut Martin. On October 4, 1975 in Buffalo, he married his wife of 41 years, Mary Ann Staszczyk, who predeceased him on Dec. 9, 2016. Robert worked in scrap yards for his whole life and was a parts manager. He was a stock car driver for many years. He enjoyed being outside watching birds and feeding them and going to the Casino but he truly loved spending time with his grandchildren. Robert is survived by 15 Children, Robert (Lynn) Martin of Virginia, Elaine (Greg) Baeley of Tennesee, William (Roxanne) Martin of Royalton, Richard Martin of Buffalo, Laurie (Ken) Mertz of Tonawanda, Roger Martin of Buffalo, Scott (Angie) Martin of Buffalo, Michelle (John) Pollack of Elma, Brian (Melanie) Martin of Angola, Donna (Jerald) Kokotajlo of Buffalo, Denise Jarzyniecki of Akron, Debbie White of Friendship, Donald White of Allegany, David (Sandra) White of Lancaster, and Darren (Glory) White of Elma; many many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Along with his loving wife, Robert Ann was predeceased by one brother, Harry Martin; and one sister, June Kinglands. A Memorial Service will be held at Grape Vine Banquet Center, #333 Dick Road, Depew on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016 at 6:00 PM. Flowers are gratefully declined.
