Rebecca L. Pantano of 1602 Park Avenue passed away Saturday March 22, 2014 at home, following a brief illness, with her loving husband & family at her side.
Rebecca was born December 14, 1960 in Olean and was the daughter of Gerald and Doris Nitsche Gore. She married her life-long companion of 30 years, Pete Pantano, who survives.
Rebecca worked for the Country Inn & Suites for the past 12 years, where she was the Breakfast Hostess. She enjoyed traveling, golfing, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren who were the "apples of her eye."
Along with her loving husband, Rebecca is survived by three children, Jeremy C. Ensell of Portville, Jessica A. (Keith) Mott of Olean, and Nathan M. (Jamie Deckman) Pantano of Asheville, NC; three grandchildren, Jordan E. Powell, Aubrey R. Ensell, and Cutter R. Mott; three siblings, Terry, Debbie, & Alan; and Mrs. Lois McAllister of Portville, who had a lot of influence in her upbringing.
Rebecca was predeceased by a great aunt, Mabel Skaggs.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street Olean, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at 11:00 AM. The Rev. Steven W. Beattie, Pastor of the United Pentecostal Church will officiate.
