Olean – Randy L. Faulkner "Loving Husband, Father, & Grandfather"
Randy L. Faulkner, of 551 Martha Avenue, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at the Olean General Hospital, following a courageous battle with Leukemia.
Randy was born on June 28, 1958 in Cuba and was a son of Richard L. and Alberta Mae Cornell Faulkner. On July 24, 1982, in Olean, he married his wife of 38 years, Joni M. Scott, who survives.
Randy was a 1974 graduate of Olean High School. He became a self-employed general contractor and was experienced in all the different trades. Randy was known for his workmanship and work ethic. He was involved with many projects including home building and remodeling, some commercial buildings, and other construction projects for Cubic Storage for many years. Randy also dug graves for Mount View Cemetery for the past 30 years, as well as, building the Olean Cremation Company building in 1996.
Randy enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, working/"tinkering" around his home, tractors, gardening, and helping others, but he truly loved spending time with his granddaughters who were the "Apple of His Eye."
Along with his loving wife, Joni, Randy is survived by; his mother, Alberta M. Faulkner of Olean; 2 sons, Nathan L. (Corrie Mulligan) Faulkner and Nicholas L. (Kari Jones) Faulkner both of Olean; 2 granddaughters, Maggie L. and Shayleigh E. Faulkner; and 3 sisters Vickie L. (John) Tuttle, Cindy (Mike) Disorbo, and Wendy K. Snyder all of Olean.
Randy was predeceased by his father, Richard L. Faulkner, on April 6, 2017.
Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 East State Street, Olean, on Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, at which time a Memorial Service will be held.
