Coudersport-Phyllis B. Norek
Phyllis B. Norek passed away Friday, May 12, 2023 at UPMC Cole.
Phyllis was born June 4, 1930, in Smethport PA, she was the daughter of Hans and Roma Starr Benson. On November 11, 1950, she married John Charles Norek who died on September 23, 2015.
She was a member of Saint Eulalia Catholic Church.
Phyllis is survived by children Kris (Harold) Hawkes of Coudersport, Gayle (Jeff) Potocek of Coudersport and Kevin (Kelley) Norek of Portville, NY; grandchildren Dr. Lindsay (Jesse) Graham of Jamestown, PA, Dr. Leslie (Steve) Freeman of Birdsboro, PA, Derek (Julie) Anthony of Bellefonte, PA, Jillian Anthony of Erie, PA, Kyle Norek of Portville, NY and Kelsie Norek of Ithaca, NY.
Great-grandchildren Jessica, John, Gabriel and Serci Graham, Novella and Ellory Freeman and Charles Anthony.Phyllis is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Richard and Walter Benson and sisters Gayle Robbins and Kathryn Benson.
Friends will be received at the St. Eulalia Catholic Church 6 Maple Street, Coudersport on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 10:00am, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am followed by a luncheon at St. Eulalia’s Catholic Cemetery, Coudersport.
