Patsy L. Ahrens of 350 Front Street, Aspen Towers, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010 shortly after arrival at the Strong Memorial Hospital following an illness.
Mrs. Ahrens was born on June 15, 1946 in Salamanca and was the daughter of Henry George and Thelma M. Bell Ahrens. She was formerly married to Albert A. Ambroselli.
Mrs. Ahrens attended Olean Schools. She held various jobs including private duty jobs in the home health care field. Mrs. Ahrens attended St. Mary of the Angels Church. Pat's true love was her grandchildren, which she enjoyed spending time with.
Mrs. Ahrens is survived by three sons, John A (Eileen) Ambroselli of Avon, Jeffrey M. (Hope) Ambroselli of Rochester, and Albert A. Ambroselli, Jr. of Rochester; a daughter, Nicole M. (Joseph) Cilento of Rochester, nine grandchildren, John A. Ambroselli, Jr., Benjamin M. Ambroselli, Carly J. Ambroselli, Jeffrey M. Ambroselli, Jr., Justin M. Ambroselli, Julia M. Ambroselli, Josie M. Ambroselli, Nicholas C. Cilento, and Nathan J. Cilento; three sisters, Shelvy J. (Paul) Beaver of Cuba, Jackie J. Bunker of Olean, and Monda B. (George) Hatch of Custer City, PA; and several nieces and nephews.
A private Mass of Christian Burial was held today, Friday, Nov. 5, 2010 at St. Mary of the Angels Church with the Rev. Gregory J. Dobson, Pastor, celebrated. Burial was in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany, New York.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street, Olean.
