Olean - Nyanna L. Covington "Devoted Mother"

            Nyanna L. Covington formerly of 144 South Union Street,  passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018 in Wellsville Manor Care Nursing Home, following an illness.

            Nyanna was born on October 16, 1957 in Sharon Pennsylvania and was a daughter of Robert W. Covington and Ruth I. Murphy.

            Nyanna graduated from West Middlesex High School, then went on to Mercer County Vocational Technical School in Mercer, PA, where she was a key punch operator for warehouse inventory control.  Nyanna was a former member of the St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Hermitage, PA.  She was also a former member of the St. Stephen's Club Lady's Auxiliary of Olean.  Nyanna enjoyed Crossword Puzzles and as a great fan of the Pittsburg Steelers, she loved her pets but most of all she loved spoiling her son Quinn.  She was known to have a lot of spirit and lived life like a firecracker.

            Nyanna is survived by; Her former companion of several years, Kenneth L. Everitt of Clearwater, FL and his mother Mary Everitt of Hinsdale; Her son, Quinn R. Covington of Olean; his half siblings, Brad Everitt and Lindsey Richards; 2 brothers, Robert (Nancy) Covington, Raleigh (Marlene) Covington of West Middlesex, PA and friends at Stel

            Friends will be received on Saturday, August 18, 2018 in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State Street, Olean, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at which time a Memorial Service will be held. Mr. Monroe B. Bishop, will officiate.
