Nancy Carol Wheeler

Olean- Nancy Carol Wills Wheeler “Loving & Devoted Grandmother” Nancy Carol Wills Wheeler, 84 of Olean passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at the Pines of Olean following a long illness. Nancy was born on November 12, 1938, in Jamestown and was the daughter of Edward and Flora Wills. On June 30, 1956, in Bradford she married Dean S. Wheeler who predeceased her on November 30, 1998. Nancy retired from Acme Electric where she worked for over 20 years. She worked as a parking attendant behind Grant’s Department Store. Nancy enjoyed reading, long drives in the country, and crocheting especially things with pompoms. Nancy was part of the Wheeler racing team #24. Nancy loved NASCAR, especially Jeff Gordon for the #24. After retirement she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and taking them to Forness Pond with Happy Meals to feed the ducks and watch the dragon flies. Nancy is survived by her daughter, Susan (Joe) Wheeler Carey of Whiteford, MD., four grandchildren, Michelle Wheeler of Olean, Timothy Edwards, Chantel McMayo, Jasmine (Travis) Cole Mims, nine great grandchildren, Donald (Bethany) Wheeler, Robert Wheeler, Damon Miller, Isabel Dolch, Andrew Nickel, Jared Murphy, MyShia Robinson, Marianna Robinson, Kelston Edwards, and one great great grandchild, Harper Wheeler. In addition to her parents, Nancy was predeceased by her husband Dean S. Stewart Wheeler, sons, Daniel M. and Matthew D. Wheeler, a daughter Deana (Randal) Wheeler Cornman, granddaughter Mandy Wheeler, and siblings Donald Wills, Gordon Wills, and Dorothy Messer.
