Olean-Melissa A. Colley “Loving Mother, Sister & Aunt”

Melissa A. Colley of East Green Street passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Olean General Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Melissa was born on April 8, 1971, in Olean and was the daughter of Patricia A. Chapman.

Melissa grew up in a military family and often moved throughout the country. She enjoyed watching crime shows, 80s rock n roll; especially Bon Jovi, but most of all loved spending time with her family.

Melissa is survived by her two children: Kalynne N. (Rebecca L. Gennes) Whitehead and Tristin B. L. Whitehead both of Olean, three siblings, Kelli L. (Jerry Benjamin) Peed of Olean and Mark D. (Cynthia) Colley of New Haven, MI., and Douglas C. Coley of Allegany, nephews, Jake, Chris, and Remmington Colley and nieces Sophia Colley and Ashlee (Tony) Rudolph.

Melissa was predeceased by her mother, Patricia Chapman and two brothers, David and Steven DiMarco.
