Olean – Marlene Y. Bush "Loving Mother" Marlene Y. Bush, of 401 Alder Court, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at the Olean General Hospital, following a lengthy illness. Marlene was born on October 7, 1941 in Port Allegany, PA and was a daughter of Alton and Elizabeth Stocum Spencer, Sr. She worked for Fibercel for 25 years before going to work in the transportation department for the Rehab Center, retiring October 31, 2003. Marlene enjoyed Native American History and collecting the artifacts. She formerly enjoyed hunting and fishing. Marlene loved camping. Marlene is survived by; a daughter Betty J. (Dave Richardson) Bragg of St. Cloud, FL; a stepson, Robert (Rose) Blakeslee of Pennsylvania; 3 adopted daughters, Diana Peasley and her daughter Brooklyn, Margaret (Dale) Lewis and her son Christopher Ferry of Olean, and Enid Lopez of Olean; a sister-in-law, Dawn Spencer of Port Allegany, PA; and a niece Reanna Spencer. Marlene was predeceased by, her parents, and 4 brothers, Edward Lee, Walter R., Harold Lee, and Alton "Sonny" Spencer. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 East State Street, Olean.
