Olean – M. Dale McCaul "Loving Father and Grandfather"
M. Dale McCaul, of 1113 West Sullivan Street, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at the Olean General Hospital, following an illness.
Dale was born on July 12, 1938 in Olean and was a son of William W. and Sylvia E. Toner McCaul. He was a 1956 graduate of Olean High School. Dale served in the Army National Guard. He worked for the Olean School District until his retirement in 1998. Dale enjoyed roller skating, riding his bicycles, riding motorcycles, and walking at Allegany State Park, but he truly loved spending time with his family.
Dale is survived by; 2 children, Jeffrey (Sarah) McCaul and Janet McCaul both of Little Valley; 7 grandchildren, Shawn Farr, Maximus McCaul, Samantha McCaul, Oran McCaul, Luke Wenke, Camille Emborsky, and Gibson Town; and a niece, Nancy (Tony) Molenda of Glendale, CA.
Dale was predeceased by his parents, a brother, William McCaul, Jr. and a half-sister.
Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 East State Street, Olean, on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm, at which time a Funeral Service will be held. The Rev. James Vacco, Pastor of the St. Bonaventure Parish, will officiate. A Graveside Service will be held at St. Bonaventure Cemetery in Allegany, on Friday, June 18, 2021 at 10:00 am.
