Lucille T. Kaduc of 649 Grandview Avenue passed away Sunday March 16, 2014 in the Olean General Hospital.
Lucille was born on Feb. 19, 1931 in Olean and was a daughter of Joseph and Josephine Nohra Moses. On Oct. 22, 1955, at St. Joseph's Church in Olean, she married her husband of almost 59 years, Frank A. Kaduc, who survives.
Lucille was born and raised in Olean. She and her husband lived in Canada for a couple of years and returned to Olean in 1958. Lucille worked at Lime Material before she was married and then she worked at Betty Levite Professional Answering Service for several years, retiring in 1975. Lucille was a member of St. Joseph's Church, where she served as a member of the Altar Society. Lucille enjoyed cooking, playing cards, and going to the casino, but most of all she loved her grandchildren, spending time with them and cooking family dinners.
Along with her loving husband, Lucille is survived by five children, Patricia A. (Thomas) Lowry of Olean, Paul A. (Cindy Baker) Kaduc of Olean, Frank A. (Lauren) Kaduc of Rochester, Jeffery M. (Susan) Kaduc of Bolivar, and Lisa M. (Michael) Guyon of Rochester; seven grandchildren, Peter & Rachel Lowry, Alexandra Kaduc, F. Christian & Sarah Kaduc, Amelia & Abigail Guyon; three siblings, Eva York, Rochelle (Max) Baire, and Ann Marie Worth; and many nieces & nephews.
Lucille was predeceased by two brothers, Moses J. Moses & George J. Moses; and seven sisters, Julia Joseph, Bertha Moses, Emily Saab, Elia Abdo, Margaret Ehaman, Daye Maarsen, & Yvonne Harris.
Friends will be received today, Tuesday, March 18, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 beginning with a prayer service in the Funeral Home at 9:30 AM followed by a Divine Liturgy at St. Joseph's Maronite Church at 10:00 am.
