Lester C. Vandruff

Lester C. VanDruff of 418 Arland Ave., Olean, passed away Wednesday Feb. 11, 2015 in the Wellsville Manor Care Center, following an illness. Lester was born July 18, 1938 in Little Genesee and was a son of Charles F. and Mary Keller VanDruff. Lester graduated from Cuba High School. He worked for Cuba Cheese & ACME, and worked on the family farm. Lester worked for 33 years at McClure Industries in Friendship and then for Friendship Foundry for about 7 years in the 1990's. He will be remembered as a hard and dedicated worker his whole life. Lester is a former member of IAM Local. He loved hunting & fishing. Lester is survived by four sons, Aaron D. (Sarah Bliss) VanDruff of Cuba, Ruben S. (Victoria Ingraham) VanDruff of Cuba, Harland L. (Shane Hylman) VanDruff of Holiday, FL, and Chad F. (Ashley) VanDruff of Salamanca; 5 Grandchildren; and four brothers, Harold, Lowell, Carl, & Mike. Lester was predeceased by two infant sisters, and one brother, Bernard VanDruff. Friends will be received on Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. 24 Genesee Parkway Cuba, New York 14727.
