Kim D. Hund of 401 W. Green Street, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at home surrounded by his loving wife and family following a courageous battle with cancer for the past nine months. Kim was born on May 7, 2954 in Buffalo and was a son of Clifford G. and Joan Bronold Hunt, Sr. On June 30, 1973 in Olean he married the love of his life, Michelle L. Siago, who survives. Kim was a 1972 graduate of Hamburg High School. He worked as a contractor and then a landscaper. He moved to Olean in 1975 and worked for the Olean School District for the past 25 years in the maintenance department. Kim loved being out doors and enjoyed hunting & fishing and gardening. He will be remembered as a hard working, loving and caring person who was willing to help anyone who needed it. In addition to his wife of almost 40 years, Kim is survived by three sons, Chad M. Siago, Halley M. (Christine Neeley) Hund, and Kristopher M. Hund all of Olean; six grandchildren, Jasmine, Kieze, Keynan, Eithyn, Kieghrae and Aubree; three brothers, Kip (Kim) Hund of Hamburg, James M. Hund of Olean, and Eric Hund of Great Valley; a sister, Wendy (David) Pyanowski of Hamburg; and many nieces & nephews. There will be no public visitation or funeral service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Kim Hund Memorial Scholarship Fund and sent the Olean School District or to the American Cancer Society.
