John J. Brucker of 410 Martha Ave. passed away on Thursday Feb. 9, 2012 at home following a short illness and sounded by his loving family.
John was born on August. 25, 1952 in Cleveland Ohio and was a son of Eugene and Marie Piazza Brucker. On Oct. 6, 1986 in North Port Fl. he married his wife Kathleen S. Maley who pre-deceased him on March 19, 2001.
John grew up in Olean. He worked as a carpenter for a number of places and in a number of states including Florida, Tennessee and Kentucky. After moving back to Olean in 2001, he continued working as a Carpenter for the Local Carpenters Union until 2003 when he hurt his back. John loved politics, taking care of his home and his dog Mookie. John loved his family and he especially loved his sons and enjoyed spending time with them. He will be remembered as a loving father and brother.
Surviving John are three sons, Joshua R. Brucker of Olean, Matthew J. Brucker of Olean, and Nicholas A. Brucker of Englewood, Fl; two brothers, Daniel F. (Anna) Brucker of Tenn., and Joseph A. Brucker of Northport Fl.; three sisters, Nancy M. Matejka, Victoria R. Brucker, and Christina M. (Douglas) Phillips all of Olean; and several nieces and nephews.
As per his request, there will not be any services observed. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street, Olean.
