James Mcgonigle

Great Valley – James McGonigle “Loving Father, Friend, and Husband” James McGonigle of 6027 Depot Street 105, passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 tragically from Covid-19 complications. James was born Nov. 19, 1959 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, and was the Son of William and Patricia McGonigle. On October 21, 1993 he married his wife of 28 years, Laurie A. McGonigle, who survives. James served 4 years in the Navy from 1980 to 1984. He worked as a locksmith for Austin Locksmithing & Security for the past 10 plus years. James enjoyed fishing but he truly loved being around his children and grandchildren. Along with his wife, Laurie, James is survived by; 3 children, Brandon (Kali) McGonigle of Little Valley, Amber L. McGonigle, Holly (Tyler Kennedy) McGonigle both of Salamanca; 3 grandchildren, Hayden A. McGonigle of Virginia, Kynlei M. McGonigle and Karsyn Sage both of Little Valley; 2 brothers, Kevin (Debbie) McGonigle and William (Penny) McGonigle both of Linden, NJ; 2 sisters, Patricia (Stephen) Stuart of PA and Karen (Thomas) Walker of Linden, NJ; 3 nieces and 4 nephews. James was predeceased by his parents. Friends will be received on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 3:00PM to 4:00PM at which time a Memorial Service will be held.
