Olean – James J. Crandall
James J. Crandall, of 126 Fulton Street, passed away on June 11, 2021, at the Olean General Hospital, following a lengthy illness.
James was born on March 3, 1959 in Olean and was a son of Kenneth G. and Patricia A Batesky Crandall. On July 25, 2001, in Olean, he married his wife of 19 years, Patricia A. Jobe, who survives.
James was a 1977 graduate of Olean High School. He attended a technical school in Arizona to become a Auto Mechanic. James worked as a Auto Mechanic at Marra Brothers and then as an Auto Detailer at Rick Bokman's, until he became sick. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Olean.
James enjoyed working on cars, riding his Kawasaki motorcycles, and attending the Rally in the Valley. James also enjoyed taking pictures of nature and interesting things while he was out riding, but he truly loved spending time with family and friends.
Along with his loving wife, Patricia, James is survived by; a son, Kyle Crandall of Olean; a sister, Susan Crandall Chiapuso of Allegany; and several nieces and nephews.
James was predeceased by his parents.
Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 East State Street, Olean, on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, at which time a Funeral Service will be held.
