Hinsdale - Jacqueline M. Powley "Loving Mother, Grandmother, and Sister"
Jacqueline M. Powley, of 1057 Powley Road, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019, at her home, following an illness.
Jacqueline was born on January 18, 1936 in Olean and was a daughter of Thomas and Arilla Clark Cameron. On October 4, 1951 she married her husband of 20 years, Richard M. Powley, who predeceased her on March 5, 1972.
Jacqueline worked for about 37 years at AVX in Olean, before her retirement. She was a member of the Maplehurst Baptist Church. Jacqueline enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, her cats, taking rides in the country, and baking. She was known to have a passion for ice cream.
Jacqueline is survived by; 3 children, Della M. (David) Beeman, Leonard J. Powley, and John D. (Catrina) Powley all of Hinsdale; 5 grandchildren, Stacy, David, Richard, Nick, and Nate; several great grandchildren; and a sister, Nancy Draban of Allegany.
Along with her loving husband, Jacqueline was predeceased by; her parents, a son, Thomas Powley, a sister Joyce Ratzel, and a brother, Larry Cameron.
A Private Graveside Service will be held at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State Street, Olean. Online condolences may be made at www.LetroMcIntoshSpinkFuneralHome.com
