Helen L. Bogacz

Helen L. Bogacz, formerly of Olean and Wellsville, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017 at the Olean General Hospital, following an illness. Helen was born on July 25, 1944 in Olean and was a daughter of Gaylord B. and Rosanna C. Green Sisson. She was formerly married to James Drane. Helen later married Richard Bogacz, who predeceased her. Helen enjoyed shopping, laughing, joking around, drinking coffee, and receiving letters & cards in the mail. Helen is survived by five children, James, Patricia, Timothy, Mark, and Scott all of Arizona and Allen of Florida; four siblings, Rosanna Royer of Thompson, CT, Ethel Drane of Phoenix, AZ, Frank (Esther) Sisson of Olean, and Edwin Sisson of Olean. Along with her husband, Helen was predeceased by five siblings, Betsy Arnold, Gaylord, William, Thomas and Robert Sisson. A Private Graveside Service was held at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Olean at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E.
